1. What CR-CIPI is
CR-CIPI is an independent private-sector initiative under development. It does not provide legal, tax, immigration or investment advice, and it does not sell investment products.
2. Member listings and the Verified badge
Members are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. The Verified badge means CR-CIPI reviewed the documents the member provided at that time; it is not a guarantee, endorsement or certification of the quality of their services. Always do your own due diligence.
3. Job board
Job posts are published by member companies, who are solely responsible for them and for their hiring decisions. Postings must describe real roles, comply with Costa Rican labor law and must not discriminate. Never pay to apply for a job.
4. Articles and reviews
Members keep ownership of their articles and grant CR-CIPI a free license to publish and share them. Content must be relevant to the community and must not be political, religious, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading or purely promotional. CR-CIPI may decline, edit for format, or remove content at its discretion.
5. Accounts
Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in with a one-time code. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
6. Liability and law
The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, CR-CIPI is not liable for dealings between users, members and employers. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica.
